Colombia Café Granja La Esperanza
Colombia Café Granja La Esperanza
Café Granja La Esperanza began with its first farm, Hacienda Potosí, founded by Israel Correa and Carmen Rosa Vega. Today, the legacy is carried forward by their daughter Blanca and her husband Juan Antonio Herrera, alongside their sons Luis and Rigoberto Herrera, who continue to cultivate exceptional coffees across their farms, Cerro Azul, La Esperanza, Buenos Aires in the western mountain range, and Las Margaritas in the central range. Buenos Aires sits between La Esperanza and Cerro Azul, where thousands of gesha trees were planted to observe their expression at an intermediate altitude, bridging the profiles of both farms.
This washed gesha expresses notes of rambutan and apricot, with a balanced stone fruit acidity and a soft, honeyed floral finish, comforting, elegant, and quietly sweet.
