El Salvador Finca La Esperanza

El Salvador Finca La Esperanza

Purchased by the Pacas family in 2010, Finca La Esperanza is divided into 18 carefully managed tablones, each selected for specific varieties and growing conditions. The farm is run with strict attention to environmental care, no herbicides are used on new plots, all weeding is done manually, and cascara is composted and returned to the soil.

Mokka is an ancient variety with roots in Yemen, named after the historic port of Mokha. Its exceptionally small cherries make it commercially impractical, but the cup is prized for its rarity and layered, expressive complexity.
